Still In Touch
Juried Exhibition
The Union of Student Artists, Winthrop University Galleries, and LOOM Coworking are hosting a curated virtual and physical exhibition that will showcase the ingenuity of Winthrop's faculty and students during these weird quarantine times. Due to Covid- 19, the spring semester of 2020 is operating in a way that we've never experienced before. We recognize that it can be hard to create art without readily available studio space and supplies, but nevertheless, Winthrop's creative community still thrives.The goal of Still In Touch is to give Winthrop's artistic students and faculty the chance to display the work that they have made during these times of self-isolation and show the creative processes that they have utilized to stay inspired. With this exhibition we want to motivate you to continue making art and keep you connected with the Winthrop and York County community! The Union of Student Artists and Winthrop University Galleries have juried the exhibition found on this website, which will be advertised from June 21st - August 23rd. The Union of Student Artists
The Union of Student Artists is a student run club at Winthrop University that strives to promote learning, communication, collaboration and advancement within the College of Visual and Performing Arts in association with the greater creative community at the University. The board members of U.S.A work hard to create opportunities for students to network, promote, show, and sell their work, while helping them develop skills to benefit their professional art careers.
